Hutto How Do I . . .

. . . Export My Grades To The Network?

(Note:  This is done AFTER you have put grades in the <Reporting> Nine Weeks Spreadsheet.  See: . . . Prepare A Gradebook For Export To SASI (Using Integrade To Calculate The Grades)? or . . . Prepare A Gradebook For Export To SASI (Without Using Integrade To Calculate The Grades)?

1.   Open Integrade Pro and Select Your Class Gradebook File

2.   Click on: File.  This will open the File drop-down.  (Note: It does not matter which class or spreadsheet you are in.)

3.   Click on: Export from Gradebook

4.   In the ‘Export from Gradebook’ window, Click in the box next to the <Reporting> Nine Weeks.  This will put an 'X' in the box.   (NOTE:  Check only ONE box in this section; the reporting nine weeks.)

5.   At the bottom of the ‘Export from Gradebook’ window, Click on: Next

Note: You will see:

WARNING

Some data required for export is missing.  This information should be entered before you export.  The following is a sample of some of the missing data.

It gives you the name of the class and what data is missing.  If you have a HOMEROOM class, you will always get a ‘Required Data Missing’ error because grades are not given to a HOMEROOM class.  If this is your only error, or if you know what is causing the error (i.e.  A student was assigned too late in the reporting period to have a grade):

6.   Click in the box next to: ‘Continue With Export Anyway

7.   Click on: Next

(Note:  If you get a WARNING and do not know why, write down the indicated error exactly as it is on your screen, Click on: CANCEL and report the error to your SASI administrator.

8.   At the bottom of the ‘Export from Gradebook’ window, Click on: Export

You will see:

Select Export Directory

Make sure the second line below the title bar reads:  H:\IGPRO\225\'<your teacher number>' and that the '<your teacher number> folder' is highlighted.

9.   Click on: OK (at the bottom of the ‘Select Export Directory’ window)

At this point you will be given the opportunity to review the errors found by the InteGrade software.  Click YES to see the errors.

Remember if you have a HOMEROOM class, you will always get errors because grades are not given to a HOMEROOM class.  If this is your only error, or if you know what is causing the error (i.e.  A student was assigned too late in the reporting period to have a grade) or if you just don't want to review the errors, click NO and you will return to your gradebook.   Go to Step 10

If you click YES , the error log is placed in Notepad.  Use the scroll bar to scroll up and down the doccument.  If you have questions, you can print the document and show it to your SASI administrator.  Close this window and you will be back in your gradebook.

10.  You only have to EXPORT ONCE.  This will export all of your classes at one time.  (Note:  Exporting sends a file containing your grades to the network.  The file is ready to be imported by Guidance.  You will not see your grades in SASI until Guidance imports your file from the network.
