|
(Note: As with all Windows actions and
functions there are several ways to do this. This is just one way.)
| 1. Locate and double click the 'Recycle Bin' icon on
your desktop.
|
 |
| This will open a 'Recycle Bin' window that shows all of
the files that have been deleted from your computer. 2. Locate and RIGHT CLICK
on the icon that you want to undelete. |
 |
| This opens the 'icon options' dialog box with four options, the first option being
Restore.
3. Click on Restore and icon will disappear from the
"Recycle Bin" window |

|
| Note: If you get a dialog box with eight options instead
of four, and the first option is not Restore, you didn't right
click on the icon. You right clicked on the window and are
seeing 'window options' dialog box not 'icon options' dialog box.
Move your mouse indicator back to the icon and right click. |
 |
| 4. Close the "Recycle Bin" window (Click
on the 'X' in the upper right corner of the 'Recycle Bin' window) and get back to your desktop.
You will see the restored (undeleted) icon somewhere on your desktop.
It doesn't put the icon in the same location it was deleted from, but it is back on your desktop
some where. |
