Jones-Wheat Elementary is located close to historic downtown Bainbridge.  Within driving distance are major southern cities, like Tallahassee, FL and Dothan, AL.  Jones-Wheat has a great learning atmosphere, with excited students and enthusiastic teachers.  There are three buildings that make up Jones-Wheat. There is a lower elementary wing (housing Pre-K through 3rd grades) and an upper elementary wing (housing grades 4 and 5), as well as a building with the large lunchroom and stage.  Jones-Wheat also has a large playground and plenty of room to play.  Jones-Wheat serves approximately 550 students from various backgrounds and has 75 faculty and staff to make sure students are on-task.  Jones-Wheat is a great place to grow!
