



"Opening the World through Technology"
Here at Lillian E. Williams we are blessed to have such an extensive technology program. Our students are fortunate to have a computer lab that houses 20 computers. Within this lab the students are exposed to education through the use of many educational programs, software, and the internet.
Here at Lillian E. Williams we strive to use the best practices of education through the use of technology. Our teachers receive a training every nine weeks on different programs and sites that they may use to better their teaching. Some of these programs are Nettrekker, and OAS. Both of these programs are sure to help our students strive to reach for the 'GOLD" alone their educational endeavors this school year. Technology is a very big part of our educational world.
Our students are exposed to technology at a minimum of 1 hour and a half each week.
Here at Lillian E. Williams we are on the reach for better education through Technology.

Mr. Chip Davis, Technology Coordinator
This is Mr. Davis' first year here at Lillian E. Williams. He come to Lillian E. Williams as technology coordinator form Potter Street Elementary where he taught for the past 7 years. During that time he taught kindergarten, first and second grades.
Mr. Davis graduated from Thomas University with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education with honors. He then continued his education at Valdosta State University where he received a Master of Education in Early Childhood and Curriculum. He also holds an Education Specialist Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Curriculum Administration and Instruction. During this time Mr. Davis was trained on may educational programs and software, and also on the maintenance of technology machines.
Part of Mr. Davis' job as technology coordinator, is maintaining SASI. SASI is the student record program, that is used in Decatur County.
He loves what he does very much and is very glad to be a part of the Lillian E. Williams Family.

Bernice Jackson, Computer Lab
Mrs. Jackson has been part of the Lillian E. Williams family for the past 7 years. She is a vital part of the technology department. She attends Bainbridge College. Mrs. Jackson is married to Mr. Lorenzo Jackson of Bainbridge. She has one son, Latavis Porter who is a Freshman at Bainbridge High School. She loves to travel, and her favorite trip so far, was to Las Vegas! She plans on going back for a visit soon. Mrs. Jackson enjoys working with not only children, but people in general. She has worked in not only the education field, but also the nursing field.
