Announcements:
· All class parties will be held on Thursday, February 14th after lunch time. Your child’s teacher will send home a letter letting you know what time his/her party will be.
· No balloons or flowers will be allowed to be delivered to school on Valentine’s Day. This is a board policy.
· We are asking for volunteers to donate treats for the weekly PAW winners. If you would like to donate PAW treats for our personal achievement winners please contact your child’s teacher. We need 32 treats each week. A special .
· Student Council officers and representatives will be selling chocolate lollipops for $1.00 We will be selling these in homeroom every morning through Thursday, February 14th.
· Congratulations to our WBE 5th Grade Social Science Fair Winners! 1st Place: Christian Hahn; 2nd Place: Mason Birdsong; 3rd Place: Zack Willis. These students will represent WBE at Bainbridge College in February.

· Parents please do not forget to check your child’s bookbag each night for homework or CRCT practice materials. You can go online for extra CRCT practice. If you need another copy of how to log on to the website please contact your child’s teacher.
· 5th grade students and parents—do not forget that there is an Immunization requirement for students entering 6th grade. Your child must have 2 doses of Varicella (chicken pox). Please try to get this done before the summer to beat the back to school rush.
· The Pennies for Patients fundraiser will be going on Feb. 4-15th. This money goes to help children who have been diagnosed with cancer. Please send all the change you can find to help our school reach its goal.
