Mrs. Amy Pelham Guidance Counselor

 

    Mrs. Pelham joined the staff of West Bainbridge Middle School during the Summer of 1999.  She graduated in 1982 from Chipley High School.  In 1996, she graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education. She taught Mathematics and Science for ten years before returning to graduate school. In 1996, Mrs. Pelham earned a Master's degree in School Counseling from Valdosta State University. She was a guidance counselor at Hutto Middle School in Decatur County for two years before joining the staff at West Bainbridge Middle School. Mrs. Pelham has served as the Decatur County American Cancer Society Vice President and The Year 2000 Relay for Life Chairperson.

Mrs. Pelham is married and has two children.

 

Testing

8th Grade Writing Assessment          January 17th 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade CRCT            April 16-26   Helpful Hints: Make sure your child gets the proper amount of sleep each night before testing. Provide a peaceful morning. Encourage your child to eat breakfast. Make sure your child arrives at school before the bell rings in order not to feel rushed or panicked. Work ahead of time with your child on weak academic skills. Please do not schedule outside appointments for your child on testing days.
