To increase account security, all Google accounts for administration and the district office will require 2-step verification beginning July 1, 2022. Your Google account will prompt you to enable it at that time.

Google offers several options for the way that 2-step verification will work and you can choose the method that you prefer. The options are:

Google Prompts: When you sign in to Google on a computer, your phone will ask you whether or not you just attempted to sign in. When you tap "Yes", the computer will sign in. This method works with Android phones that are signed in to your Google account, or Apple phones that have the Gmail app installed and signed in to your account.

Text Message: When you sign in to Google, you will receive a text message with a numeric code. When you enter this code on the computer, it will sign in.

Authentication App: When you sign in to Google, it will prompt you for a code from the Google Authenticator app (Android, iPhone). You could use this option if you don't want to sign in to your account on your phone, and don't want to enter your phone number for text message authentication. At the time when it's first configured, you would scan a QR code from the app. This lets the app know what codes it should return for that site. Multiple sites can be added into this app, and Infinite Campus supports this method of 2-step verification as well.

USB Security Key: When you sign in to Google, it will prompt you to insert your USB security key. Google sells USB security keys for $30. Other brands of USB security keys (such as the Yubi Security Key) would also work as long as they say that they support Google accounts. One key can work with multiple accounts, so you would be able to use it with your personal account as well.
