The BMS band program is off to a great start this school year, under the direction of Mr. Harden. Sixth graders have been revisiting the fundamentals they learned in fifth grade, while new band members have quickly adapted and jumped right in. The excitement is building for the upcoming 5th and 6th grade fall concert scheduled for October 7th.
Seventh graders are focusing on mastering new techniques and refining their skills to ensure a successful year ahead. Meanwhile, eighth graders are working diligently to prepare themselves for the transition to high school band next year. The eighth-grade marchers are already setting a strong example for their peers.
Additionally, the seventh and eighth graders are gearing up to perform alongside the high school band at the football game on September 12th.
With such enthusiasm and commitment, it looks like the BMS Band is going to have an outstanding year! Don't forget to mark your calendar for Friday Night Lights on September 12th!
