🔵The Star Chapter Farmer Award goes to an individual who has a satisfactory SAE project, must have completed at least 2 years of Agriculture Education, must be actively involved in the FFA chapter, and without a doubt has gone above and beyond the call of duty as an FFA member. This year’s recipient happens to be one busy person. This member is focused on their personal and long-term goals. This year's recipient learned the value of building meaningful relationships with everyone who comes into their life. This member is always there if you need a laugh or help with anything.

In Decatur County, agriculture is more than an industry. It is a way of life and a vital part of our local economy and heritage. FFA plays an important role in preparing the next generation of agricultural leaders by giving students hands-on experiences, leadership opportunities, and career skills that connect directly to the needs of our community.
The FFA programs continue to impress thanks to the dedication of its students, advisors, and supporters. From leadership competitions and public speaking to livestock projects, community service, and agricultural sciences, Bainbridge FFA students consistently represent Decatur County Schools with excellence and pride. Their hard work and commitment are helping shape the future of agriculture in Decatur County.
The banquet featured Opening Ceremonies, the Invocation, student awards and recognition, Senior Officer Retiring Addresses, the installation of the 2026–2027 BHS Officer Team, and Closing Ceremonies.
A special thank you to the advisors, supporters, sponsors, and community members who continue to invest in our students. Congratulations to all of our FFA members for another outstanding year of leadership and accomplishment! 💙💛

Tuesday, we celebrated:
• Cassidy Marshburn – Georgia Southwestern State University, Early Childhood Education
• Carmen Avila – Georgia Southwestern State University, Early Childhood Education
• Aubree Gainous – Georgia Southern University, Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Sydni Avery – Valdosta State University, Communication Sciences and Disorders
These young women represent the heart of what it means to be a Bearcat. Their compassion, leadership, work ethic, and passion for working with children will leave a lasting impact on countless lives in the years ahead.
At Bainbridge High School, we are proud to be growing the next generation of educators right here in our own classrooms. Watching these students commit to careers centered around serving others is a powerful reminder of the difference our future teachers will make in schools and communities for years to come.
And one day, classrooms across Georgia will be better because these young women chose to answer the call to teach.
