Testing may be over and the end of school may be near, but BMS students are still learning! Students in Mr. Perry's ELT and Science classes had a blast demonstrating all the incredible skills they've developed this year! From concept to creation, these talented learners:
✅ Planned their projects
✅ Designed and built
✅ Tested and refined

Check out what they created: 🎢 Roller coasters 🏃 Marble runs 🎡 Ferris wheels 💨 Wind-powered cars

Their work doesn't just showcase engineering—it influences curiosity, ignites innovation, and inspires us all. This is what hands-on learning looks like! We are so proud of the creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork on display!

We are so proud of these boys: Cash, Bryson, and Cameron took a project they started in robotics and have created something amazing! They took their invention on to Georgia Tech's K12 Invention Convention and came in 2nd place overall and won the Iron Clad award!! They received an invitation to Nationals, and we will head to Detroit for a week's worth of competition in June!!!! Good luck to them as they represent not only BMS and Decatur County but the ENTIRE STATE OF GEORGIA!!!

The Bainbridge High School and Bainbridge Middle School FFA Chapters welcomed students, families, and community members on May 11, 2026, to the Cloud Livestock Facility for the 2025–2026 FFA Banquet, an evening celebrating leadership, service, achievement, and the lasting impact of agricultural education in our community.
In Decatur County, agriculture is more than an industry. It is a way of life and a vital part of our local economy and heritage. FFA plays an important role in preparing the next generation of agricultural leaders by giving students hands-on experiences, leadership opportunities, and career skills that connect directly to the needs of our community.

The FFA programs continue to impress thanks to the dedication of its students, advisors, and supporters. From leadership competitions and public speaking to livestock projects, community service, and agricultural sciences, Bainbridge FFA students consistently represent Decatur County Schools with excellence and pride. Their hard work and commitment are helping shape the future of agriculture in Decatur County.

The banquet featured Opening Ceremonies, the Invocation, student awards and recognition, Senior Officer Retiring Addresses, the installation of the 2026–2027 BHS Officer Team, and Closing Ceremonies.
A special thank you to the advisors, supporters, sponsors, and community members who continue to invest in our students. Congratulations to all of our FFA members for another outstanding year of leadership and accomplishment! 💙💛

Our 8th grade scientist from Ms. Rambo's homeroom had a sweet time investigating the science behind candy apples with Mrs. Jacobs of CJ's Sweetique!

Students explored how sucrose (table sugar) changes when heat is applied, observing its transformation through several fascinating stages from dissolving in water, to creating supersaturated solution, reaching the hard crack stage, and finally cooling into that shiny, glass-like candy coating we all know and love.
