Good Afternoon. Out of an abundance of caution, BHS and BMS implemented a level one lockdown (soft lockdown) in response to reports of shots being fired behind our schools on adjacent property—NOT ON SCHOOL CAMPUSES. Our law enforcement officers were dispatched and have secured the area. EVERYONE IS SAFE. We appreciate the response from our administration and law enforcement officers. THERE IS NO LINGERING THREAT AND THE LOCKDOWN HAS BEEN LIFTED.
